Eshrir pursued a career in Starfleet Intelligence following the traditions of the Dara keth (clan). After a failed operation due to faulty intelligence and bad leadership he resigned his commission. At the outbreak of the Dominion War he joined the SFMC in honor of the warrior tradition of the Dara keth. Although he was wounded at the Siege of AR-558 he distinguished himself during several engagements with the Jem’Hadar. He suffered from diminished eye-sight in his left eye which effectively ended his career within SFMC. However, because of his distinguished career Starfleet offered him a commission within Starfleet Security. He accepted this commission and subsequently served aboard the USS Tulwar as Chief security and tactical officer. The Tulwar was involved in the taskforce led by the USS Enterprise-E in the Battle of Betazed. After the Dominion War he participated in several sensitive deep space exploration missions aboard the USS Comet, a fleet-variant of the Titan-class long range science and reconnaissance vessel, before accepting a position aboard the USS Sirius.

Clan & Family:
Eshrir is born into a notable Andorian family within his keth. The Dara keth is known for their warrior, spies and black ops traditions. Eshirs father is the clans presider and often represents Andoria in official Federation affairs. Eshrir has one brother Akathahl and two sisters: Jhallia and Asata.
